How soon can I see cash and investment movements on the website following the receipt of my Switch?
We do not post any transactions on to our system until we have received and agreed deal confirmations from the broker/fund manager. These are usually received on the business day following the transaction.
Once these have been agreed the investments will be posted and, if settlement is not same day, the settlement amount will be shown as ‘Transaction(s) in Progress’ on the Investment Details page. Once settlement has been made, and the bank has confirmed receipt of the settlement details, the payment will be shown on the Cash Details page.
Please note that, when redemption proceeds are received from a fund manager / broker / custodian, agent charges may be taken by any of the correspondent banks through which those proceeds are paid. As such, the amount received into your member account may be less than the value of the redemption. Any charges taken will be dependent on the bank and currency.
